Although nothing has been fabricated official yet, it appears equally though Iced World have been dropped by their longtime label, Century Media, following the recent arrest of guitarist Jon Schaffer for his participation in the pro-Trump Capitol riot.
Iced Earth first signed with Century in 1990. Of all of their twelve full-length studio albums, merely three were released by another label (Steamhammer/SPV released 2004's The Glorious Burden, 2007's Framing Armageddon: Something Wicked Part 1, and 2008's The Crucible of Man: Something Wicked Part ii). They returned to Century for 2011's Dystopia, 2014's Plagues of Babylon, and 2017'south Incorruptible.
But every bit of today, the band no longer appears on the Century Media artists folio (photo below). A representative for the label declined to annotate.
Both the Washington, D.C. police and the FBI were looking for Schaffer after a widely circulated photograph identified him as one of the siege'south participants. After eleven days, the guitarist finally turned himself in to authorities on Sunday, January 17.
Also on Lord's day, new photos surfaced of Schaffer within the Capitol holding what regime referred to equally 'bear spray,' an aerosol deport deterrent containing chemical irritants, such equally capsaicin, intended to create a burning sensation. Schaffer, along with other rioters, is declared to take apply the substance confronting Capitol police.
Schaffer now faces six charges:

When word of Schaffer's involvement in the Capitol riots spread, his bandmates issued a collective statement distancing themselves from the violence only stopped brusk of publicly disagreeing with his political views. Pressed for more details regarding these alleged global controllers, Schaffer said:

It's absolutely the way the world works. So start with reading 'The Creature From Jekyll Island,' research the council on foreign relations, Trilateral Commission, Bilderberg.
"All of these things are real, they're happening, and y'all're never going to hear about it on the mainstream news considering they're the gatekeepers of what'southward happening. It's not paranoid conspiracy theory, information technology'south conspiracy fact. And anybody that is naive enough to retrieve that people with power would not conspire to go on their power, is living in a fucking fantasy. Period."
He went on to assert that he had no interest in receiving a COVID-19 vaccine:
"I don't know when my band [Iced Earth] is going to be able to go back together because there'south all these criminal governors all over usa proverb, 'at that place's never going to exist another public gathering until there'south a vaccine.' Well, fuck y'all. Nobody's going to forcibly vaccinate me. Not happening."
