Looking to put some new wheels and tires on my 2020 Taco subsequently I do a 2" elevator. Not actually finding what I'1000 looking for at Tire Rack. I want to order online and do the install myself. Whatsoever recommendations? I desire to put 285/75/xvi's on. Whatsoever help much appreciated.

Ordered wheels for the Jeep here. Website has nice features. Yous input the type of elevator you have and corporeality your willing to trim the fender etc.. and they give you fitment options. And photos of any give wheel on customers trucks with different tires etc..

OP, I know I am probably in the minority hither only why not see if at that place is a local shop for tires? I am in NY and frankly we don't have a lot of expert places with tons of wheels and tires so my options are express. But I constitute a prissy grouping of guys who run a small custom / off roading business and they were helpful. They were able to get the tires I wanted (Nitto Ridge Grapplers) simply I didn't have the luxury of looking at other tires that I was genuinely interested in (Toyo, the new Pirellis, etc.). In the end, I think I paid a bit more than if I had bought them on line but I felt proficient considering they did a expert job on the mounting and I can bring the truck back if in that location are issues. I know it is just me just I felt good most supporting the guys and giving them my business -- fifty-fifty if in the end it ended up beingness another say $100. Not a small amount, I know.
Some of these shops tin also be very competitive too ... Just throwing that out at that place as something to consider.

I concur. Rims are one matter, call me onetime fashioned but I similar going into a tire shope. I similar haggling and shootin the shit. Plus if information technology's a small-scale enough shop and the dudes are cool, they'll unremarkably let me wait over ball joints n rotors due north shit while the truck is on their lift.

I accept to say, I agree with you. The identify I got my tires from is actually a Jeep shop simply they do all kinds of trucks and it was actually squeamish to meet some folks in the expanse, talk almost baseball, trucks, the great outdoors and fishing. The shooting the shit part is kind of worth it otherwise we would never leave the house and talk to our neighbors.

The small-scale shop I go to is has 3 generations working there and information technology'south no bs they know what they're talking most. Sent my gf there and she had 2 worn out fronts and some life left on
Dorsum instead of telling her she needs 4 new tires they rip the fronts and accept new or used tires to supervene upon. Prices are good too maybe not big tire concatenation prices simply how could they be. Plus they have some crawly dogs that hang out outside and they make you play fetch with them lol. Small shops are awesome when information technology comes to some things.
